Things to do in Richmond, VA with kids

You know one thing you won't hear in Richmond, Virginia? "I'm bored!". There is SO much family fun to be had in this incredbile city, you might find there is TOO much to do!

Kids love theme parks? Great! Kings Dominion has over 200 rides, as well as a 19 acre water park. Kids love animals? Perfect! Metro Zoo has over 1,500 of them, and they can have great experiences interacting with them at the Maymont Children's Barn and Nature Center!

Do you kids love to use up that endless energy? Say no more! Attractions like Thunderbolt Indoor Karting and G-Force Karts are perfect for them to enjoy a little excitement.

Is it history that you love? Why not enjoy a tour on the RVA Trolley, seeing as this great city in Virginia is where the first trolley system in the world made an appearance (back in 1888!)

There are fun ways to see the city like Segway of Richmond, and learning through play can be enjoyed at the Children's Museum of Richmond-Central.
