Zoos in Nevada

Think Nevada is all casinos and deserts? If we told you that there are some great animal attractions for the family to enjoy, would you believe us? Well, believe us!

Why don't we start with Las Vegas, because this bright city in the desert has a number of places where kids can have unique animal experiences.

The family can explore creatures that live under our oceans at the Aquarium at the Silverton, or Shark Reef Aquarium. Yes, there are sharks in Vegas! Kids can meet flamingos at the famous Flamingo hotel,  and even explore the Dolphin Habitat complete with white lions and leopards, to name a few!

Of course, throughout the state you can meet colorful friends at Nevada Bugs and Butterflies, or learn about conservation at Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary in Reno. You can even enjoy a safari at Sierra Safari Zoo, the ONLY zoo in Northern Nevada!
