The world’s smallest penguins live on Penguin Island. Not far from Perth so easy traveling with the little ones. You can catch a taxi to the island ferry terminal which is about a 45-minute drive from Perth and then take the 5-minute ferry ride.

You can see the famous Blue Penguins and the most adorable little penguins.

Penguin Island is home to over 1,200 wild penguins, with the most beautiful beaches, nature trails, and lots of wonderful places to snorkel and swim. It's worth noting that Penguin Island is closed to visitors from June until September for the nesting season.
