Celebrate the Native American heritage at the 2018 Southern Virginia American Indian Festival!

It's time to come together in Virginia and celebrate! On May 11 - 13 , the South Central Fairground in Chase City, Virginia will come alive as they host a gathering of First Americans.

Spend the day. Stay the weekend. It's a unique experience and one the kids will get a lot out of!

Be greeted with a warm welcome, and experience members of many tribes coming together to celebrate heritage, stories and fellowship.

Friday evening bonfire with story teller Patrick Stewart from 6-9PM.

On the weekend the gate opens at 10am so you may talk with the 16 Native American tradespeople and a few local non-Native artisans.

There will be demonstrations of Village Life, Predator Bird education, and Heritage Resources.

It's worth noting the schedule may be changed, so check when you arrive.

This is a young and growing PowWow and they have heard from tribal members from Florida to Ohio so it should be a wonderful First Americans’ Gathering and they hope you will be able to join them!
