Festival 2018 Gold Coast is 12 action-packed days of FREE culture that is taking over the Gold Coast from the 4th to 15th April! This family friendly event is celebrating the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Kids can experience a host of fun activities, from music, theatre, circus, dance, film and visual arts from the Gold Coast, the entire country, and all across the globe!

There are also some events in Townsville, Brisbane and Cairns too!

FAMILY EVENTS

Internationally leading artists, a wonderland at Kurrawa Park Broadbeach and performances on Surfers Paradise Beach will enchant families from 4-15 April at Festival 2018 Gold Coast, the arts and cultural program of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Festival 2018 Gold Coast Co-Creative Director Kate Fell says everyone is invited to explore the magical spaces of Kurrawa Park Broadbeach.

“We’ve handpicked works of the highest quality by globally leading artists to create this enchanting playground for young and old.

“The idea is,whether you’re aged 0 or 100,you’ll be able to spend an entire day delighting in the different worlds at Kurrawa Park Broadbeach.”

“There are plenty of things to see, make and do, so we say: come in, stretch your imagination, have some fun, unleash your creativity and savour some of the quieter moments to reflect and concentrate,” Ms Fell said
