Many of the animals on display here are endangered and at risk of dying out in their natural habitats. The Great Indoors is an indoor area that features meerkats, a Tropical Rainforest that houses Toucans, sloths, and poison dart frogs, the Amazon Rainforest, the Pacific Islands where you can see cockatoos, tree kangaroos, and Galapagos tortoises, and the Deserts, which has African penguins, sand cats, and black-footed ferrets. VMMRR is a non-profit society that rescues and rehabilitates marine mammals, including dolphins and porpoises, seals, and whales.
