This fascinating museum is great for kids who love all things aviation, as they can come up close with some very amazing vintage planes. It's also a fitting dedication to those veterans and aviators who pioneered aviation, allowing us to life and work as we do today.

It's a trip through the history books, where the family can learn about those people responsible for these amazing technological advances, and really immerse yourselves in the history of flight!

Wings Over Miami Air Museum displays AND flies both classic and military aircraft, all of which showcases not only the history of the aircraft, but of those pilots that flew them. You might be able to see in person aircraft such as the B-59, 1942 Boeing Stearman, 1957 Ikarus, and the GNAT

The museum’s amazing collection of aircraft is also almost entirely in flying condition - pretty amazing! Some of the aircraft are flown regularly, and mainly this occurs on the weekends.

In addition, there is recurrent plane maintenance and renovation activity on site which you might even notice as they walk through the museum. This too, is keeping with the museum’s mission of being an active flying museum.
