Here's a fun fact for you kids! Did you know that Wilson Park is Fayetteville's first and OLDEST park?
Well, way back in 1906, Wilson Park was created, and all across the years since the council have added something fun for families to enjoy. Today, you have nearly 23 acres of family fun to enjoy - right in the heart of the city!
What was once known as City Park is today called Wilson Park and is one of the City's most popular parks!
Excited to hear all of the fun things you can do at Wilson Park? Well, aside from enjoying that classic park fun, you can try and get that slam dunk at the basketball court - nothing but net!
There is a fun castle area for the kids, as well as a playground for those with that little bit of extra energy! They can climb, hide, slide and swing until their heart's content!
For those sporty kids, the fun can continue with the softball field, as well as the not one but SIX tennis courts! Wilson Park also has a volleyball court as well as a walking trail if you want to take it a little slower.
Let's not forget about the swimming pool, which is always super fun for those warmer days! Ready to make a splash, kids?
