Whitefish KOA Kampground 5.0 (reviews)

Montana is an incredibly beautiful state, so it would be shame not to experience camping in the middle of it's amazing wilderness!  Whitefish KOA is only 24 miles from Glacier National Park, and is nestled in a secluded valley off the highway, just a couple of miles from the town of Whitefish.

They have sites there for any RV size, as well as Kabins (it is KOA after all!) Kottages (you see a running theme?) and lovely primitive grassy tent sites.

The cabins come in one or two bedrooms, and are very cozy and clean! Each cabin has it's own lovely front porch, fire pit, picnic table, heat and electricity.  The cottages sleep four and are located nicely in the trees, which makes for great shelter and great scenery! They are semi-secluded locations with their own private forest views - amazing!

What to do during your days? How long do you have! Whitefish KOA are also close to Bob Marshall Wilderness, Flathead Lake and the very fun Big Mountain Ski & Summer Resort.

If you have a car or an RV, make sure you take those scenic drives in the area - there are some AMAZING things to see! Kids, there is also a playground, kiddie paddleboards, a games room, mini putting, and yep - a petting zoo! How amazing is that! And parents, you will love that most of these activities are FREE!

You get FREE breakfast at Buffalo Bob's Family Entertainment Center, which has (wait for it..) air hockey, pino pong, pool table, and foosball - all FREE!
