If you are in the mood to cool off a little over summer in Virginia, then you might just want to head to Waterworks Waterpark!

Here, the whole family can swim, splash and slide the day away in some pretty fun water attractions. In fact, it's one of the most popular AND fun aquatic playgrounds for the family in Northern Virginia.

WaterWorks Waterpark is actually located within Andrew Leitch Park in Dale City, and has a number of fun activities to keep the whole family entertained. There are a number of water slides that you can challenge yourself on, and the perfect way to make the biggest SPLSAH!

There are a number of water obstacles that kids can play in, and fun wading pools to have a splash about in.

The park as a fun beach area, as well as THREE jungle walks, and a splash n' play. There is even a two level children's wading pool with crayon sprays, geysers, rope climbs, and a whale slide!

The Splash N Play is perfect for those little ones before the crowd emerges, two mornings a week.

If you want some time to dry off, then head to the shaded shore lounge cabana areas, and there is even a full-service snack for all of those hungry tummies!

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at WaterWorks Waterpark?

There are a number of tasty treats that you can enjoy at the park, from pizzas, to hot dogs, candy, fries, kids meals, chicken and burgers!

Any top tips when visiting?

Have your birthday party at the park! There are two packages that you can choose from, as well as add ons so you can make it that much more special to everyone!

Does WaterWorks Waterpark have a gift shop?

You can rent cabanas to have that extra privacy and space if you visit with your family.

Teachers corner

They offer group rates, so why not take the students and enjoy an end of term celebration, or just as an alternative to sport!

Does WaterWorks Waterpark have healthy eating or Vegan options?

Only water is permitted from outside the park. You can bring your own lunch to eat outside the grounds, or there are fruit cups and sandwiches available within the park for those wanting to be healthier
