This fun family museum is located in the famous Presidio, and really showcases the wonderful story of Walt Disney, his work, and his innovation.
The exhibitions within the museum are always changing, so you can always head back and see something fun and new!
Kids can learn about the artwork from the movies, the talent behind the characters, and how all those iconic animations were made.
The story of Disney himself is also showcased within the exhibits. Explore where he spent the holidays, and what inspired his visions for the most magical place on earth. How hard do you think it was for him to land his first major contract after moving to Hollywood?

Do they have baby facilities?
Strollers are now permitted in the galleries. Guests are welcome to use their own strollers, excluding jogging strollers and double strollers. There are a limited number of complimentary strollers available to check out from coat check.
I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Walt Disney Family Museum?
The Museum Cafe is open during museum hours, with indoor and outdoor seatings, and overlooking the lawn! There are also other food options in the Presidio including Starbucks, pizza and craft cuisine
Any top tips when visiting?
Complimentary coat and bag checks are available in the lower level of the museum. All backpacks, parcels, and large bags must be checked. Umbrellas may be left at the front door in umbrella stands.
