About Wagon Hammer RV Campground
For those families who just love nature, and want to get out and just relax, Wagonhammer RV Park and Campground might just be the place for you!
Situated right on the Salmon River's edge, you can just enjoy nature - there is so much to see and do!
First, the RV Park itself. They have 52 camping sites with a large number right on the banks of the famous Salmon River where you can swim, fish and relax with 360 degree mountain views, and they all come with full or partial hook ups.
If you fancy something pretty cool and different, they have teepee camping rentals! These very unique teepees are 12 and 14 feet in diameter, and you need to bring your own sleeping bags and pads, but you get to enjoy life next to their sweet pond and shaded trees - and relax!
The park is pet friendly, has high speed wifi, picnic tables and BBQ facilities for you to enjoy a bit of cooking out under the stars (try and find all the constellations!), a free book exchange library and DVDs to borrow! And now the adventure part!
There is unlimited activities to see and do in the area. ATV and jeep riding trails, river rafting, check out some of the historic ghost towns, hiking trails, golfing, swimming, hot springs, and a whole rich history of Lewis & Clark historical sites (do you remember from history class why they are famous!?)
If you are particularly a keen fisher, then you will love the Salmon River running through the grounds as the fishing is available all year round!
We just LOVE nature!
