About Ute Bluff Lodge

Who loves camping!? We certainly do, and Ute Bluff Lodge offers a selection of lodges and RV sites on 17 beautiful acres adjacent to the famous Rio Grande River.

They have 30 fully equipped RV spots, as well as 7 rustic and cozy log cabins with full kitchens, or perhaps one of the 21 lodge rooms takes your fancy, with mini fridges and microwaves.

They have a guest laundry, free wifi, two hot tubs, a full sized tipi (fun!), and a fish cleaning station, as well as a lovely Recreation Room which is great for special events or just making friends with the other campers.  There is a full kitchen area, seating, TV, wood burning stove, games, books, movie and totally free to use!

The area of South Fork, where the park is located, has year round activities. The winter sees guests enjoying snowboarding and downhill skiing at the nearby Wolf Creek Ski Resort, as well as cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, ice fishing and snowmobiling - and that's just winter!

Spring, summer and fall, get out into nature and enjoy adventurous activities such as 4 wheeling, rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking (we need to take a breath!), golfing, fishing, hunting, and even bird watching.

There are also several fun activities for the whole family which are a short drive from the park. There are gold mines to explore and learn about the history of the area, sand dunes to play on, train rides, national parks, museums - even a gator farm!

A popular option for families to use as a base to explore the area and get out into the wilderness, as well as up the mountains.
