Any top tips when visiting?
They recommend arriving at the ticket window as early as possible, as tickets may run out by mid-morning or earlier. Peak season is Memorial Day through Labor Day, but the tours are very popular year round.
You can only buy tickets for the same day of your tour.
Does United States Mint Denver have a gift shop?
There is a great gift shop that's worth stopping to visit! The Gift Shop entrance is on Cherokee Street, between West Colfax Avenue and West 14th Avenue and offers a great selection of coins and one-of-a-kind souvenirs.
Teachers corner
They do offer pre-arranged group tours for 15 - 20 people, but not during peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day).
Is United States Mint Denver fully accessible?
The Mint facility is wheelchair accessible and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
If you need a sign language interpreter, contact them at least ten days in advance

Tours are offered Monday through Thursday (excluding observed federal holidays) at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. They last approximately 45 minutes.
