Tuxedo Ridge Ski Area
About Tuxedo Ridge Ski Area
Mountains and snow can be so much more fun than building snowmen (Although that is a VERY important part of wintertime!)
Tuxedo Ridge Ski Center has activities perfect for the whole family, and all experience levels.
There are classes for beginners, which even just one lesson is recommended if you haven't done it before, so you get the most out of your time on the slopes.
You can get private one on one lessons, group lessons, or even multi-week lessons for all ages - even the little ones will love the Pee Wee lessons - ideal for those kids who are potty trained up to 6. They have after school programs, and even holiday camps - both for those over 7s but perfect for all experience levels.
If you are quite the pro and want to try your hand at racing, you can take training classes for these - even as young as 6! As long as you can ride the chair lift on your own.
Oh ...did we mention snow tubing! Tubing is super easy, and super fun, and you don't have to climb back to the top like you do with sleigh riding (which it's very similar to)
Want to hear something very cool? Night skiing! Wait until most of the crowds disappear after dark and ski or board on their trails lit up with their pretty lights. That's pretty cool, and a very unique experience for even the most professional skiiers.
So budding ski bunnies get ready - it's snow time!
