About Tom Ridge Environmental Center
The Tom Ridge Environmental Center is a great place to learn about the environment through interactive and hands-on learning, plus some adventures thrown in there too! The center features 7000 sq ft of interactive exhibits covering a huge range of topics that teach about the unique 3,200 acres of Presque Isle, and the variety of life found to inhabit the peninsula.
Not only can you learn about the landscapes of Presque Isle, but you can learn the history too, with plenty of fun for the entire family.
They want your experience to be one of learning, wonder and fun.
Also at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, kids can enjoy the HUGE Big Green Screen Theatre which is a massive 4 storeys high, and 45 feet wide, and shows nature and documentary style screenings to further your educational experience.
Plus if you've got the energy for the steps, check out the 75ft tall TREC Tower offers stunning views of Lake Erie. Make sure you take your camera, you won't want to miss out on anything!
