The story of the Titanic has gone down in history - it will forever be known as the unsinkable ship that sunk. The Titanic Museum Attraction tells another story - one less heard. They tell the story of those children of the Titanic - for children of today. It is the first and only tribute in the world to Titanic's smallest heroes.
Kids can step into the shoes of those their own age and imagine what it would have been like on such a magnificent vessel! What were people saying? What sounds could they hear?
Kids can wander along the corridors, visiting the cabins, the hallways, the parlors - and even the Grand Staircase! They can be a real passenger, and even touch a real iceberg!
The museum even go so far as to let kids experience what it would have been like on that fateful night. Fancy putting your hand in 28 degree water and feeling how cold it was? Imagine what that would have been like! They can also try and stand on sloping decks - can you imagine trying to walk along there are the boat creaks around you?
You enter with a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger. What was your name? Imagine what you would have been like! There are over 400 personal and private artifacts on display - some of the detail is amazing! You might see a playing card, or a little dice still with its dots painted black.
For those captains under 8 years old, there is a Tot-Titanic section which is fully interactive so they can have a hands-on experience at the exhibition.
The whole family can then sit in an actual sized lifeboat and listen to passenger stories - actual ones!
Iceberg - dead ahead sir!
