Who loves those big cats? We certainly do, and so to Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge who are ALL about those beautiful creatures. In fact, it's their mission to care for all of those animals they have rescued, and taken in - and YOU can go and visit them!
The refuge is located on 150 acres of preserve, which is home to around 40 big cats. It's an incredibly learning experience for kids, as they can learn all about the feline species, and understand how important it is to ensure they have a future in the USA, as well as the rest of the world.
A not for profit foundation which provides sanctuary and care for Lions, Tigers, Cougars, Leopards, Pumas and more!
The refuge offer guided walking tours from Monday to Saturday, then self-guided only on Sundays. The tour is about half a mile walk, and takes around 45 minutes. After that, you have your own time to enjoy the park yourselves!
Improving every year, the refuge provides the animals in it's care with space and facility to exercise, baths to soak in and platforms to pose on!
It's a great chance to educate kids on the worthwhile works of such charities at the same time as getting a good look (better than ever thanks to the new fencing) at some really exciting creatures. .
Every animal has a story, so it's a beautiful experience for the kids, learning about why they are there, and what their personalities are like!

The last tour starts at 4:15pm and no arrivals after 4pm into the park. All visitors must leave by 5pm.
