The Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo
About The Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo
Las Vegas isn't all casinos and bright lights. In fact, for those animal-loving kids who visit the city, we might have just the thing for them!
The Wildlife Habitat at The Flamingo Las Vegas is a naturalistic enclosure located outside the hotel, and yes, you can see a host of beautiful birds who reside there, including those iconic flamingos. Chilean Flamingos in fact!
Did you ever wonder how the hotel got it's name? Now you know!
The Wildlife Habitat is one of the most popular attractions in Las Vegas. Nestled within the hotels lush 15 acre grounds, admission to this area is FREE (which we love!) and families are welcomed, so why not grab your camera and enjoy some time away from the busy streets with some incredible creatures?
As well as the namesake Chilean Flamingos, The Wildlife Habitat at The Flamingo also features miniature islands, streams and waterfalls which are home to swans, ducks, koi, and turtles.
Also at the habitat are rescued brown pelicans too.
Try and head down to see one of the two live feedings a day, as they are always fun for the kids to witness!
