About The Texas Zoo
The Texas Zoo offers a host of amazing animal experiences and encounters for the family, so why not take a walk on the wild side and come exploring with us!
This popular family zoo features introduces kids to animals from Texas, as well as the rest of the world. You can meet them face to face as they walk round naturalistic habitats with good viewing opportunities built in. A great learning experience for the kids!
That learning can continue through the various events that the Texas Zoo holds throughout the days, and the year.
Kids can wrap their arms around sheep, or give potbellied pigs a belly rub at the Petting Zoo. Along with their favorite barnyard creatures, kids can meet emus, and white-tailed does as they learn why it's so important to care for our animals!
A new introduction to the Texas Zoo are the Family Field Trips! Just bring that sense of adventure as you travel with the staff through the various ecosystems across the grand state of Texas, and even the world! Every experience is unique too!
Keep an eye out too for the many events that the Texas Zoo host across the year, including Halloween at the zoo, and seasonal festivities too!
