About The Science Factory Children's Museum and Planetarium

Science is so much fun to learn, and when you visit a museum like the Science Factory Children's Museum it allows kids to learn all about science through play, creativity, experimentation and interactive hands-on exhibits!

Sounds great!

The Science Factory is the only children's museum in Lane County, and is filled with super fun activities for kids of all ages! There are permanent exhibits that kids can fall in love with and visit time and time again.

Those little curious minds in the family will love the Tot Spot, where toddlers can play and climb into play structure shaped like a boat, and act out fun stories with puppet characters all from underneath the ocean! Great creative learning!

Recycling is important, which is why the Science Factory has an entire exhibit all about how to prevent items ending up in landfill.

There are also exhibits that rotate, so there should be always something new every time you visit again. Each of these exhibits feature a different theme, and allow kids to learn about another fun and fascinating topic.

We haven't even told you about Exploration Dome yet! Kids - imagine navigating your way through a black hole, or working along palaeontologists as they uncover fossils millions of years old.

In the Exploration Dome, kids can be an astronaut as they travel into space. Amazing!

A day of fun, learning, and wonders awaits at this children's museum. Science has never been so much fun!
