About The Reindeer Farm

Reindeers aren't just about Christmas and pulling Santa's sleigh. Nope! They are a super cute animal just waiting to be visited by YOU!

At The Reindeer Farm, kids can get up close to the 150 reindeer that are found on the farm today, as well as about 30 Rocky Mountain Elk, 20 horses and a beautiful bison. There are also a host of other fun farm animals that are ready to say hi!

During the summer season, the whole family can enjoy daily tours on the farm, as well as great trail rides on horseback up the Butte. If you are feeling active there are even some great hiking trails in the area - in a beautiful place like Alaska it seems a shame not to really experience it all!

The Reindeer Farm is especially great for those festive and seasonal celebrations. There is family fall fun with great hay stacks and pumpkins ready to make your day extra fun! They have spooky walks (and haunted houses for the kids!), as well as pony rides for those sweet kids under 12. There is even a hay bale maze, potato launching and tractor pulled wagon rides! Weeeee!

And of course, what would Christmas be without reindeers?

Open for a few days in December, kids can get their photo with santa, enjoy the fun reindeer tours, try out their indoor snowball fights, and all sit around the bonfire at night! If you are feeling creative there is also a craft area.

No need to REIN in that fun - let it all out at the Reindeer Farm - you will have a unique experience with these sweet creatures!
