About The Farm at Lee Martinez Park
It's farm time! We love farms at Family Days Out, and if you are in the Fort Collins area you might just stumble across The Farm at Lee Martinez Park!
This family friendly farm has been giving kids a super fun time since 1985 - that's a lot of happy families!
The Farm at Lee Martinez Park is both a fun and interactive farm for kids, but it's also an educational experience for them. Kids of all ages can learn about the animals - their personalities, their habitats and their roles on a farm. They can also learn about the farm itself, and what it takes to run it. It's such an important part of the state - it was a big part in shaping the state in fact!
The whole family can have hands-on farm fun, and allow yourselves to have an introduction to agriculture and farm life.
You can't have a farm without the farm animals, and there are certainly those cute farm animals that the kids can get up close to!
In addition, there is a museum where kids can learn all about the history of the farm and the area. Then as they walk around, they can have a better understanding of the important of the farm to what we know today!
Farms wouldn't be farms without those fun hay and pony rides! Make sure you schedule the hay rides in advance, but they certainly will be worth it!
Those little kids will love the Milk and Cookies storytelling, where they can hear stories of the farm and farm life, and keep an eye out for special events which are always popular with families!
