The Children's Museum at La Habra is ALL about showing kids how important play is to learning, so through the many hands-on exhibits, kids can develop skills, express creativity, discover the larger world and learn to work with others!

Kids can visit "real" animals on the nature walk, exploring their senses as they see, touch and hear real taxidermy mounts from all over the world - including Africa, Pacific Northwest and even Southern California!

The museum also has a living collection animal exhibit too, where kids can learn about some pretty amazing species (and learn why spiders shouldn't get the bad wrap they deserve!)

There is an authentic hand-carved Dentzel Carousel that kids can actually take a ride on, as well as a charming model trail display complete with electric model trails, and an ever-changing miniature village.

The future scientists in the family will love the STEAM Lab, where science and physics-based play awaits, and those future thespians will get a kick out of dressing up in costume, and taking the stage in the Theater Gallery, complete with sound effects, scripts and a microphone!

In addition to all the super interactive exhibits, the Children's Museum at La Habra also features an outdoor dinosaur garden, as well as a historic 1942 caboose! They also have an exhibit that changes twice a year, so you can always plan to go back to see something new!
