The Center for Earth And Space Science Education is a dynamic public science education facility, that offers amazing educational and entertainment programming to encourage an interest in, and support for, science education!

How fun!

During your time at this amazing center, the family can enjoy various hands-on science exhibits in the exhibit hall, that rotate so you can always have something to go back to. Also at the center is a chance to enjoy large-screen movies in the 40-foot domed theater that allow you to take a real time space flight in the simulator!

Have you ever wanted to watch the real time NASA feed and see planetarium style lessons? You can here!

In fact, the center is home to the very first 40’ Spitz nano-seam domed theatre in East Texas! This state-of-the-art Planetarium features an immersive, full-dome video experience. 

Your day isn't just indoors though. Also at the The Center for Earth And Space Science Education are plenty of outdoor attractions include a moon phase map, a map of the stars, a sundial and the Lunch and Learn Courtyard.

Make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled show time. No late entries will be permitted once the show has begun. No exceptions.

Teachers corner

The Center is open to school groups, Tuesday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and to the public 3-7 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 1-8 p.m. Saturdays and 2-7 p.m. Sundays.
