We just LOVE butterflies at Family Days Out! They are so delicate, and graceful, and colorful - so why not spend the day surrounded by up to 500 of them!

The Butterfly Palace in Westford is where you can spend the day surrounded by beautiful and colorful butterflies from not only New England, but from all over the world. Here, it's a completely interactive experience where you can walk along a winding pathway, and observe the butterflies right in front of you!

They might just flutter by, they might sip from flowers, bask in the sunshine, or just land on your shoulder! Kids can learn all about the life cycles of the butterflies too - from the eggs, caterpillars, and even the hatching! There is a great 15 minute video of the life cycle that will really give kids a great insight into the process too

As well as a beautiful butterfly house, you might want to make a stop at the koi fish pond, or try and spot the adorable quail birds which live in the house too.

The Butterfly Palace is a great learning experience for kids, because they get to witness these amazing creatures first hand. They can also stop off at the "show and tell" bench, where there is always a staff member available to answer any questions you may have - an extra way they want to make the experience fun for kids!

Your admission is for the entire day too, so you are more than welcome to come and go if you please too!
