Tennessee Aquarium
About Tennessee Aquarium
Want to know more about Tennessee Aquarium - one of the most popular aquariums in the USA? Great, because we are excited to tell you more!
You see, Tennessee Aquarium is where kids can discover what is amazing about our oceans, and all of the creatures that live in there - without even needing to get wet! They can come face to face with the weird, the wonderful, the scary and the adorable! They can also enjoy a theater experience, and enjoy a great learning experience too!
Tennessee Aquarium tells the story of the water through exhibits within two aquarium buildings - River Journey and Ocean Journey.
Both of these experiences offer an insight into hugely different types of aquatic and terrestrial wildlife. Here, kids can explore habitats that are close to home, in North American and Gulf of Mexico - it's surprising how diverse waters from just around the corner can be!
These exhibits are also where kids can encounter a range of exotic plants and creatures from all over the world too, even the most remote regions.
Kids can journey into the Appalachian Cove Forest, and see those beautiful river otters splashing in the waterfalls. They can explore what really lives in the Tennessee River and the Mississippi Delta, and even see what lurks beneath the waters of the Congo, Amazon, and Volga - to name a few!
Let's not forget your journey into the tropics, with a brilliant touch station, an incredible Stingray exhibit, colorful butterful garden, and even those cheeky penguins from the Antarctic!
From the slinky jellyfish, to the dark caverns, and HUGE sharks, Tennessee Aquarium really gives an unforgettable insight into the incredible creatures we have in our waterways, rivers and oceans.
So kids, are you ready to explore this family friendly aquarium? We certainly are - so let's go make that SPLASH!
