About Suwannee River Hideaway

You know your time at Suwannee River Hideaway Campground is going to be special when you arrive and check in at the 1920's General Store! After that, there are just adventures waiting for you!

Suwannee River Hideaway Campground is located RIGHT on the Suwannee River, and is surrounded by some pretty impressive wilderness! Exploring will come naturally here, with the boardwalk that will take you through the wetlands and to the river. There are wildlife, trees and plants to explore!

The campground itself is a great base for those outdoor activities that you will love, from bird watching, hiking, fishing and biking.

There is actually the Nature Coast State Trail Head just three miles of the park, and then an easy 3 mile way to the Old Railway Trestle. History too! In fact, there are actually over 30 miles of paved trails for you to take on.

The campground itself offers primitive tent camping for those who want to take it back to basics, or there are RV sites with 30 and 50 amp hookups. If you have those bigger rigs, there are pull through sites available.

The General Store might be from the 1920's, but the facilities are modern and clean! There is a laundry facility and a bath house for your convenience, and a relaxing pool for those kids who want to cool off in that hot Florida sun!

With the Gulf Coast just a 20 minute drive away, and SCUBA diving and festivals in the area too, there are certainly plenty of ways to keep you entertained in this very nature driven family RV park!
