Stampede RV park
About Stampede RV park
Don't let the name fool you, because this Tombstone camp ground is alive with activities and places to stay during your visit! Stampede RV Park is in walking distance to the famous town of Tombstone and offers cozy cabins and very spacious campsites (especially good for slide outs and extra vehicles) for you to snuggle up in during your stay.
The campsites have full hookup services, and even satellite TV on request! The cabins have lovely spacious porches that you can all enjoy your home cooked breakfast on. Perhaps you can spot some of the early rising wildlife as you sit on your porch as the sun rises? What can you spot?
And of course, you are right in the heart of Tombstone - the wildest town in the Old West! Step back in time to hang out with the meanest and baddest characters of all of the 1880s - watch out for those shoot outs in the street!
If you dare, take a trip to Boothill Cemetery where the good and the bad now lie - and if you are super brave you can take their late night "Friends of the Dead" spirit tours! BOO!
The RV Park is also centrally located to attractions such as gold, silver and copper mines which will let you immerse yourself even deeper into the areas history.
They also have the ONLY bakery in Tombstone (how about that!?) where you can pick some up something tasty to eat before enjoying the movie "Tombstone" (very fitting!) which they often play within the restaurant for people to experience.
