If you really want to just turn off from the modern world and come and enjoy nature, make sure you keep reading! Southfork Resort is located on the Southfork River in Arkansas, and it's ALL nature!

They are known as "The Family Place", and do their best to make families just like yours feel right at home.

For camping, they do accept reservations but also operate on a first come first served basis - the shady camping spots right on the river are always the most popular! 

Every camp site has it's own fire pit and picnic table, so get those burgers and s'mores out and have a feast right under the start! They also offer electric sites for those those need it, but still you get river views. Hot showers and the bathhouse are ready and waiting for you too!

RV’s are more than welcome too.

If you don't fancy getting the RV or tents out, Southfork Resort have lovely cabins you can stay in instead! All of the cabins have tableware and cookware in the kitchens, as well as over 150 channels on satellite TV (although don't forget you are right on the lake where the sun is shining!), as well as heating and AC, fans, fridges, and wood decks with river views! Sorted! 

And of course, there's the river itself! Why not take the family out on one of the 1,2 & 3 trips which are perfect for intermediate to advanced rafters. Beginner? don't worry! They have class 1 & 2 trips for you with several gravel bars and islands perfect for stopping and swimming along your journey. 

Fishing is also a popular pastime, and Southfork Resort also cater for many fishing trips, so make sure you don't miss out if love fishing!
