The Glacier Creek Stable offers a number of horseback trail rides for anyone wanting to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Kids - get ready for some amazing scenery!
Known as the "Roof Of The World", the Rocky Mountain National Park stretches over 415 square miles, and horseback is the perfect way to really explore it. As you're riding, you can just imagine what the first settlers would have experienced as they rode through all those years ago.
Keep an eye out for the wildlife too - with elk, deer, bobcat and moose all calling the area home.
The seasonal rides vary from 2 hours to up to 10 hours, so whatever you want out of your family day out, there will be something for you! The 2 hour ride takes you through the Glacier Basin valley, or for kids over 6 years you can enjoy the 3 hour ride up to Emerald Mountain. It's pretty incredible!
For kids over 7 how about taking on the 5 hour ride, or for those aged 10 and up you can really explore all the way up to the Flat Top Mountain.
Feeling adventurous? Take on the 10 hour ride across the Continental Divide - for an experience you won't ever forget!

It can get windy in the mountains, even if it's a sunny day, so be sure to take sun protection as well as a jumper or thin layer if needed.
