About Skirball Cultural Center Noah's Ark
How well do you know the story of Noah's Ark? Well, if you visit Noah's Ark within the Skirball Cultural Center, you might come away knowing much, much more about that famous story!
Noah's Ark is a place where kids can climb, play, make believe, explore, build, and make friends in this permanent and award-winning destination in Los Angeles.
The area was inspired by that ancient flood story, where the aim is to allow families to connect with each other, learn the value of community, as well as help build a better world.
Inside a real life floor to ceiling wooden ark, are rafters filled to the brim with whimsical animals. These fancifully handcrafted creatures come in all shapes and sizes, from cuddle companions to life-sized puppets! All of the creatures are crafted from recycled materials, and everyday objects, from bike parts to bottle caps - so it can really teach kids about the environment and how effective it is to recycle!
But if you visit Noah's Ark within the Skirball Cultural Center, it's not just animals that you can be entertained by!
You can conduct a storm, or even help construct the ark itself! Try not to miss the rainbow!
During your journey through the ark, you might experience impromptu "happenings", and surprise interactions - and maybe some drop in activities! Kids might meet a puppet, or get creative and make a take-home art project.
So why not take your family day out by storm - literally - and join in the fun with Noah's Ark! It's a jungle IN there!
