About Skagit Skate

It's all about enjoying the wonderful world of skating at Skagit Skate! Kids, are you ready to get those skates on?

Skating is a fun way for kids to keep fit, learn new skills, improve old ones, and boost that self-confidence of theirs. Plus it's a great way to spend time with the family! No matter what your skill level, skating is a great family day out experience for all!

Skagit Skate offers a host of public skating sessions that you can enjoy. During these sessions, you can skate for as much or as little as you like. What's also super fun, is that some of the skate sessions have different themes, so if you like Christian music, or Top 40 music, if you want to enjoy a family fun night or even take the Tiny Tots, there are sessions just for you!

If you would prefer to feel a bit more comfortable in the rink, or perhaps want to take your skills up to the next level, check out the skating classes they offer!

The classes are designed to take the beginner skater through a step by step program that includes all your basic skating skills: stopping rolling, scissors, balance on foot, crossing over, safety, falling down and getting back up and the beginning of backwards skating.

They also have room for the advanced skater who would require more advanced skills.

If THAT wasn't enough, Skagit Skate also have artistic figure skating, roller hockey and speed skating too!

With birthday parties to top off the fun, it's no wonder that kids LOVE when they are told to get their skates on!

So kids, get those skates on!
