Sierra Silver Mine Tour
About Sierra Silver Mine Tour
Sierra Silver Mine Tour is the only tour of its kind in North America. A retired miner is your guide as you walk through the main drift of a real silver mine. Along the way he will demonstrate the operation of pneumatic powered mining machinery, while teaching you about the historical and modern methods of hard-rock mining, while you learn how we get silver out of the mountain and into your life. On the way to and from the mine, aboard our classic trolley, you'll enjoy a narrated tour of Historic Wallace, Idaho, 'The Silver Capital of the World.' The town in its entirety is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
