Sierra at Tahoe pride themselves on offering an incredible skiing experience for everyone who visits. 

What opened in 1946 has grown to be one of Lake Tahoe's largest ski resorts with over 2,000 skiable areas. That's pretty impressive!

They operate 14 chairlifts, as well as three express quads.  There are also 46 trails to challenge you! Spread across 2,000 acres, that is a LOT of skiing that is waiting to be enjoyed!

The ski resort have trails of different experience levels, so whether you are starting out or a Black Diamond champion, you'll be able to make the most out of your day. 

Need some help getting on your feet? No problem! Sierra at Tahoe Skiing offer a wide range of class options for all ages ability levels. 

It's here you might be learning a new sport, or improving your technique. Imagine the new possibilities open to you! The learning terrain is 11 acres of sculpted terrain that includes gentle turns, as well as shaped features that will naturally guide beginners into understanding the fundamentals of skiing. 

Skiing AND snowboarding, they have you covered!

If you want something more, check out their Mountain Tours where you can learn about the trails, which take about an hour. You can also try showshoeing if that takes your fancy!

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Sierra at Tahoe Skiing?

You certainly won't be going hungry here! You can enjoy delicious pub food at the Sierra Pub, or tuck into breakfast bowls and Bro-ritos at Mama's Kitchen. There are donuts for the sweet toothed skiiers, and nachos for those Mexican loving skiiers. With cafes, grills and more, you won't be short on options!

Any top tips when visiting?

You can pick up walk-in tickets for various activities and lessons but it's best to book online first so you know you have tickets, and often there are online discounts too!

Does Sierra at Tahoe Skiing have a gift shop?
