It's an under water adventure waiting to be enjoyed at this iconic Louisiana aquarium - yes we're talk about Shreveport Aquarium, where you can spend your next family day out surrounded by creatures of the ocean (and you don't have to get wet!)
Shreveport Aquarium is home to over 300 different species of wildlife (with over 3,000 individual animals!) so there is SO much to discover, from turtles, to ducks, shrimp and yes kids, even sharks!
There's interactive fun for the kids too, with a touch pool where they can actually see what starfish feel like, and there are also animal feedings throughout the day where you can learn even MORE about the wonders of the waters
Kids can come face to face with beautiful sting rays, see the colors of the jellyfish as they pass in front of lights, learn about sea horses, and discover why sharks actually aren't the scary creatures they are made out to be!
If you want to make your experience at Shreveport Aquarium extra special, for an extra cost you can join a behind the scenes tour, where you gain an incredible insight into how the aquarium operates, and enjoy an even closer look at some of the animals!
A splash-tastic day out at this Louisiana aquarium, where the ocean exploration is waiting!
