Shipley Nature Center FAQ’s
Doing our bit
The goal of Shipley Nature Center is to educate the public about keeping nature in an urban setting. Demonstration gardens show which plants attract butterflies and hummingbirds. The Waterwise garden has a diplay of California Natives which are drought tolerant and attractive for home gardens.
Teachers corner
Docent led tours are available for preschool and up. Advance registration is required. A fee of $3 per person is charged. Call 714-842-4772 to reserve a tour.
