ShadowLand Laser Adventures
About ShadowLand Laser Adventures
Shhh...quick...what's that over there....oh no you've been hit!
ShadowLand Laser Adventures is a unique laser adventure where you strap on a light-weight, super high tech combat suit and enter the HUGE multi-level arena filled with exciting sensory experiences that will take you through the magical spacescapes, and creatures from another world! (and the other team!)
Carpeted ramps, tiny alleyways, magical towers and crazy bridges form part of the course way you need to navigate as you stake out your targets. Make sure you don't hit one of your own though!
ShadowLand provides a fantastic group activity so your whole family can come down and play with each other...or against! It's great for kids to learn about team skills, enhance their reflexes and co-ordination, and really tune in their senses and concentration.
It's a great sense of achievement too when they have successfully worked together to complete the mission.
When you first arrive you will undergo a briefing, so any experience level is welcome. It is recommended that those older than 6 participate because of the eerie fog and music that will be filling the semi-dark arena.
You then get your code name - just to get you into character - and then you're off!
Best of luck, General. Our thoughts are with you.

I took my son and 2 friends here over the weekend, and they had a wonderful time! They played 3 games, and had a different "adventure" for each one, which made it more interesting and fun for them. The staff was helpful, very friendly, and made the whole experience exciting for my guests. They were also careful to go over safety rules several times - not a bad idea with a gang of boys carrying guns! We really enjoyed the sense of humor of one of the staff, David, when giving us our briefing. The waiting room was clean and had plenty of seating for those who were not playing. I was impressed with the wait time on a busy (rainy) Sunday afternoon, with birthday parties in and out. We were just "drop ins"....and were accomodated with a smile, along with everyone else. I observed multiple birthday parties while there, and the staff seemed to really do an excellent job with handling the logistics. Prices were reasonable, at $20/child for 3 games, and we were entertained for 2-3 hours!! Great place for fun on a rainy afternoon!

This place is a blast. My son and I played 3 games. The first was just the 2 of us against each other. Since it was our first time ever playing laser tag, the employee giving us the pre-brief explained everything. We walked in like we knew what we were doing. The arena was cool, comfortable and well maintained. There are two levels in the arena with 4 ramps. The fog filled room let you see but stay hidden. There were lots of obstacles, both up and down, to hide behind and shoot your opponent. It was 15 minutes of sheer fun.Our second game was even better. 14 people were in the arena and we played on teams, green vs blue. It was exciting and fun. Our last game had 9 people, and we played everyone for themselves. This was the best game we played. The laser equipment was excellent. The extra advantages thrown in made the game even better. Rapid fire, stealth mode and invincible. I plan on returning soon.

My two kids (age 6 and 7) really loved going to Shadowland, and keep asking me for more. The arena has two levels plus it has "GEMs" that are on the walls. GEMs are kind of obstacles that can shoot at you or if the player shoots it first, they can give the player special powers. My kids liked ability to choose kinds of games. For instance, most of the games are one team against the other team, with various super powers. However, there is also an option where each player plays for oneself, and the points determine a winner.Kids collected the play sheet with reviews of their performance of how many times they were shot, and who shot them, accuracy, etc.The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a lot of questions, and they were pretty patient with me. I managed to loose my wallet at the location, and the nice manager Joseph made sure I got it back. He was also very nice about telling me where to take my kids for food. Overall, kids had a great time running around, and loved it there. Good times on the weekends especially, when many people come. On Fridays, this location has specials and discounts from 8pm-midnight.

This was more fun than bowling and just as high-tech as an amusement park attraction! Shadowland at Chantilly features a very colorful and advanced technology experience. For those who have never laser tagged before, Shadowland offers an excellent briefing on how to suit-up and use the phaser guns. Laser tag at this facility was a super-fun experience! The laser tag room was safe while at the same time offering a high-contrast experience of light and dark, hidden and open, inclined and declined passageways. My son couldn't stop talking about his laser tags games all the way home and throughout dinner! This is a well-kept facility with excellent customer service. Employees are friendly and highly professional. There is a great arcade, too. This Shadowland is a sure pleaser for all ages alike!

Can not recommend, terrible customer service, do not honor commitments. We brought a sports team to the area in October 2013 and called the Chantilly location at about 12:00 noon to inquire about a group reservation for 15-20 for 7pm that evening. We were advised they were not busy and we would have no trouble getting in. Our group was all there by 7:20pm and registered & paid for 2 games. Were told they we finishing up a current game & there were 2 groups ahead of us - so about a 45 minutes wait. We had no problem with that. At 8pm I went to check the status & was told they were a little behind & about 20 more minutes before the kids would suit up. At 8:30 told just a few more minutes. Then at 8:55pm (and hour & 30 minute after our arrival!) that a few more had been added to our group so we had yet another 20 minutes before we could start. At that point we demanded a refund - but were told only vouchers for another day! Fortunately I had collected cash from the parents & put it all on a Visa which I advised them I would dispute the charge id not given an immediate credit. The staff member made a phone call & did agree to credit my account. Overall a terrible experience and I could never recommend this facility to any of the teams that regularly travel to this area.
