About Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat

What sets the Mirage apart from the other hotels in Vegas are its animal habitats.  It’s a great break from the hustle and bustle of the strip, and a great way for the children to experience some of our most beautiful creatures.

The habitats were built not only for the enjoyment of all who visit, but as an educational program so the nature, habits and plight of these stunning endangered animals can be understood - an invaluable learning experience for children.

Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat is home to a number of species within the cat family.  You can get up close to the White Lions of Timbavati, the beautiful Royal White Tigers of Nevada, Golden Tigers and both Black and Spotted Leopards.  Children can even meet Mohan and Majestic - the newest and utterly gorgeous recruits to the habitat  - part of Siegfried and Roy’s breeding programs.

The Dolphin Habitat is home to a family of sweet bottlenose dolphins.  Families can enjoy watching these graceful animals play in the water, but more importantly they are part of the educational programs prepared with the Clark Country School District.  This ensures all students - from elementary to university - can study and learn about these marine mammals.

The habitats also offer other unique experiences such as a 1 hour yoga sessions in front of the underwater dolphin viewing area, painting with the dolphins where you and your new friend will create a masterpiece, or for those over 13 years you could even become a trainer for the day.  This hands-on experience includes playing with and training the dolphins right in the water!

What happens in Vegas...should be remembered for a long time at the Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat!
