About Science Mill
Science IS fun, and you can experience it for yourselves at the Science Mill - a super fun family destination offering interactive and hands-on learning for all ages!
The Science Mill features cutting-edge technology-based games and exhibits, all based around the STEM subjects (so science, tech, engineering and math) so those curious minds and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of science in their everyday lives.
The Science Mill is ALL about discovery and creativity, and they have searched far and wide to offer up the most innovative and powerfully playful exhibits to enable kids to learn through play (and they won't even know it!)
In fact, there are over 50 exhibits to experience, each with their own specific purpose.
Check out the Paludarium in the museum lobby, and see just how many species you can see in this living ecosystem, or try and use your cell phone to transform an entire silo into a dazzling light show!
Find stories of plants and animals that lived millions of years ago at the Fossil Dig, where you can learn all about paleontology, and how life evolved over time. It's here you can even use clues from geology, chemistry, biology, math and engineering to construct ideas of how these animals actually looked, lived, behaved, and died.
Kids can explore the great cycle of water in a 40ft tall silo, learn all about energy, see a colossal robotic hand, create an explosion, play on a giant lever, experiment with Virtual Reality, and we haven't even begun to touch the surface!
Fun, discovery, creativity, learning and all things science FUN at the Science Mill - it's BIG fun, Texas style!
