Schutte Park 1.5 (reviews)

Not sure what you want to do today? Well, why not just head to the park - keep it simple! With all the crazy theme parks and action adventures kids have to choose from these days, sometimes the fun of just a park can be overlooked.

Schutte Park is one of the newest parks in Dover, and is a great way to spend the day with the family! Classic family fun!

Schutte Park is known for it's multipurpose sporting fields - including softball, field hockey, soccer and lacrosse. When there aren't any sporting teams playing, why not try them out for yourself!

There is something really fun about just grabbing a ball and a bat, perhaps a couple of mitts, and learning a new skill (or showing off to Dad what you're made of!)

In addition to these great ways for those kids to burn off that energy, Schutte Park also has two playgrounds - one of those younger tykes and one for the older ones. This way you know that your children are playing on equipment that is age appropriate.

There is special equipment for those aged 3 to 5, and then those aged 5 to 12 have their own area too. What a great idea!

After you lunch on the lovely picnic spots, why not take a stroll along the walking paths, or even the wooded trail? Those budding runners in the family can try out the cross country course too - really stretch those legs and enjoy nature at the same time!

The park is always a great family day out, because it's what you make of it that is important. Being in nature does wonders for kids, and you can just enjoy it at your own pace.
