If you said the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park in Colorado, you'd be right! It's over an amazing 1000ft high, and spans a 1/4 mile across a canyon. Pretty impressive!

This amazing man made feat is surrounded by some of Mother Nature's best work, so you get the best of both worlds! It really is a one of a kind place for families to visit, and for kids to really experience something magical

At the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, there are a number of rides and attractions which will give you that unforgettable family day out.

Why not start your experience at the Visitor Center, where you can get your first glimpses of the amazing canyon. Located on the very edge of the north rim of the canyon, it's the perfect place to grab some good, or check out the souvenirs, and find out all about the attractions that are located in the park.

To the left side of the center, those adventurous family members might be keen to try the Zip Rider or the Gondola! With the Zip Rider, you can soar 1,200 ft above the incredible Arkansas River in your state of the art harness.

The new Aerial Gondola cars allow the family to glide 2,200 ft across the Royal Gorge too!

If you are still feel the rush, don't miss the Royal Rush Skycoaster, which is one of the most incredible experiences in the country! Just imagine you are free-fall sweep that takes you 50mph across that grand river - 1,200ft above it!

For something a little more gentle, the children's playground is filled with fun, where active kids can play freely with nets, ropes, slides and an enclosed playground! They can even enjoy the seasonal splash pad and carousel too!
