Rosemount Museum
About Rosemount Museum
A visit to Rosemount Museum is a day exploring history with your very own eyes! Built in 1893, this impressive historic home features 37 rooms and was once owned by John and Margaret Thatcher, and named after Mrs Thatchers favorite flower - it was also in the family for 75 years!
Today, you can take guided tours around the property, and really gain an understanding of what like was like in Colorado over a century ago
Nearly all of the furnishings, as well as accessories, decorative arts and and custom paneling is original to the home, so you can just imagine the Thatcher family walking the walls, greeting guests and enjoying meals in the 19th century.
Guided tours start on the half hour, but if you visit in the last two weeks of holiday season, you can explore the house via self-guided tour
Previously called "Colorado's Crown Jewel", why not see for yourself what is so special about Rosemount Museum, and instead of reading about history, experience it for yourselves!
