Roosevelt Park Zoo
About Roosevelt Park Zoo
Roosevelt Park Zoo is a fun family zoo with a long history, and a fun place to visit with the family in North Dakota too!
This popular and charming zoo is home to more than 200 mammals, birds, and reptiles from around the world, so no need to travel outside of North Dakota to experience the wonders of the globe.
Have you ever seen an African Warthog run, or a Amur Tiger face to face? How impressive is an African Lion up close, and what exactly is a Bongo?
Kids can learn all about llamas, kangaroos, zebra, lemurs, camels, gibbons, and even snow leopards! It's a great learning experience too, because there are even creatures that you might have never heard of before, including the Dik Dik, and Serow!
Make sure you take some time to enjoy the otter exhibit, as well as the African penguins. They are always a hit with the children!
If that wasn't enough, you can enjoy a hands on experience at the giraffe feeding station, as well as the pelican feeding station.
During your time at Roosevelt Park Zoo, stop by the Education Center where kids can continue their learning, or enjoy the gift shop and concession stand.
A WILD day out in North Dakota!
