Who wants to go ROCK CLIMBING! No, don't worry just yet, we don't expect you to be hanging off the side of a cliff just yet. Indoor rock climbing at Rock Spot Climbing is super fun, and safe, and gives kids a great introduction to this amazing sport!
Climbing is the perfect activity for energetic children of all ages. It builds confidence, lets them use that pent up energy year round, and have a lot of fun at the same time! Sounds pretty awesome!
Rock Spot Climbing in Boston is a great way for kids to get right into the indoor rock climbing scene. If they are complete novices, then don't worry because they will look after you! They give you first visit orientations, as well as an introduction into belaying and a climbing course.
They have classes for kids as young as 4 years, where they can really build their confidence, and with the staff ratio of 4:1, they can accommodate all experience levels too! Classes are developed for kids into their teens, so no matter what age, they can really get stuck into learning and harnessing (excuse the pun!) those new skills!
Check out their after school and weekend programs too. They also have a great summer camp which is great for those kids to really dive into the world of rock climbing.. If your child is involved in with the Boy or Girl Scouts, they can even come as a group and earn badges.
The great thing about rock climbing, is that the holds on the wall are color co-ordinated relative to the level of difficulty. So you can stick to the easy routes, or challenge yourself and try something harder each time you complete a color. It's a great way for kids to see themselves improving.
You never know - you might take it it so much you can then try and brave outdoor world of climbing! Until then, Rock Spot Climbing will be there every step of the way...literally!
