PowerPlay
About PowerPlay
What's better than spending the day playing? Spending it in 80,000 sq ft of fun filled activities perfect for kids - sounds great!
PowerPlay is great family fun in Kansas City, where anyone from toddlers upwards can enjoy fun experiences that can entertain, challenge, and excite!
Where to start? Well, how about the go-karts! Get those engines revved, because there are twists and turns of track just waiting to be conquered. Kids can race friends across that finish line, and really feel what it's like to be a championship driver!
How about lazer tag? This great (and safe!) activity is perfect for those really active kids, because they can run around and try and tag their opponents with a safe laser light. No more bruises like the similar games that are around! Kids can work as a team, and it's great for communication!
Not enough for you? Great, because we're not finished! Cosmic bowling is ten pin bowling with a twist - here, you're bowling in black light, so it looks like it's almost glow in the dark! STRIKE!
PowerPlay has a ropes course where kids can climb and swing across the obstacles, and bumper cars are waiting for kids and parents who want to go head to head - sounds fun!
But there is SO much more at PowerPlay, there's almost TOO much fun! The Kids Zone is for those little ones under 48" who want kiddie sized play, the pirate ship is waiting for those swashbucklers to climb aboard, and the whirlyball is well, we'll save that as a surprise for when you visit!
Now, the biggest question is...what will you try first at PowerPlay? That's a tricky one!

This was a complete joke. I was given incorrect information over the phone, so the gals at the counter offered to get their manager. I was treated so poorly and in an extremely unprofessional manner by manager Tracy. He walked off in my face, at one point telling me he didn't have time for me. He has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen at any establishment. I spent 108.00 walking into PowerPlay, and that is the treatment that is approved. I will never attempt to go there again and plan to continue to reach someone above Tracy. The establishment has really gone down hill: dirty bathrooms, unpleasant workers, horrible service and the worst management.

Read a review from 2 months ago, so checked the place out before calling to schedule anything. The staff was polite, the place was clean, and all of the games were working, so I called to book our party - 2 days in advance and had no problems getting a reservation. Computer was down when we got there, but no waiting - the manager sent us in to play WhirlyBall and had our tickets ready when we were done. Excellent food, immaculately clean, and my daughter and friends had a blast. Thanks for a great experience, well worth the price!

This place is amazing. I have been going there for years with my friends and family. The attractions never get old and there's always new arcade games there for the kids. Sometimes just us adults go and play Whirly ball and race go-karts. Overall this place has excellent customer service and great games for all ages. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a day out with kids or friends.

Terrible horrible experience this evening. A not so nice, more interested in her dinner employee was unbelievably rude to my mother who was sitting in the dining area because of a Fybromyalgia flare up. The fantastic staff went even so far as to cordon off the entire dining room area making it impossible for my mother to get out and putting a 50lb sign in between her and the exit.I really enjoyed the young blond staff member waving and acting like she owns the place. (Sweetie I REALLY hope you are friends with the owner because if you aren't this is definitely the end of your career at powerplay!) and saying goodbye to our money... we spent $200 there tonight and its safe to say I will not be back.I have never seen such incompetent staff in my life. They all stand around on their cellphones, talking to each other and eating. Child safety is NOT a priority here as there is literally nobody watching the kids.Ride and and play area operators often have not in uniform guests that are just sitting around chatting with the operators... great look and makes me feel really safe leaving my kid here..not.I will be calling to the attention of the owner his employees behaviors, especially the one of the rude staff member who treated us like an unwanted inconvenience during her dinner. We ARE SOOOO SORRY WE DECIDED TO COME SPEND OUR MONEY AT POWERPLAY...WE WILL NEVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN!STAFF FRIENDLINESS FSTAFF ATTENTIVENESS FVALUE FFOOD F----STAFF INCOMPETENCE A+
