Pottery Piazza

We LOVE art at Family Days Out, and the Pottery Piazza there is plenty of art to be created!

Families and kids of ages are welcome to come and create their very own masterpiece - any way they like!  You don't need to be an art master to join in. You might never have even held a brush before! But the lovely people at Pottery Piazza are there to help and guide you through it all. And to inspire you!

Pottery painting is a great way for the whole family to spend time together, and a great way for kids to express themselves. (And kids, if you need to make something special for mommy or daddy’s birthday then your artwork make great gifts too!)

There is over 1,500 pottery items that you can pick from to paint. You can choose from the basics such as bowls and plates, and even mugs, to home decor and figurines for those wanting to try something a bit more complex.

If you are a bit stuck on what to paint, Pottery Piazza have lots of ideas - from books to painted samples - as well as lots of design tools that you can experiment with. Then, you pick your glaze, and you have unlimited use of all of their regular and pretty speckled glazes too! Next you paint, and just have a great time!

Once you have finished, you just leave your masterpiece with the staff and they will fire it for you, then you are ready to pick it up in a week! Pretty amazing! 

You don't need to book - just walk in and grab a brush! If you are celebrating that special day, they are happy to host birthday parties too! Art is for any occasion!
