We are sailing....We are sailing....!  Get that Captain's hat dusted off and ready!

The ONLY large passenger cruise ship in West Michigan is Port City Princess, and feature a host of event cruises that the whole family can enjoy around Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan.

There are gorgeous sunset cruises where the whole family can put down their phones and laptops (yes you too kids!) and enjoy a night of entertainment as you watch the sky change colors.  Here you bring your own picnic which makes for a fun experience!  

Get your dancing shoes on for the many music themed nights, or get your soul shaking for the Gospel Tornado nights. 

Or for those older kids who like to shake their tail feathers, there are Friday Dinner Dances with mouthwatering feasts!

If you want to relax and take in the sights, there are daily scenic cruises from 2pm - 3:30pm where you get drinks and snacks on board.  Great for those little ones with an early bedtime.  If you go on Thursday or Saturday, you get a super bargain for a family of 4, as well as yummy snacks like hot dogs, burgers and drinks!

Get out onto the water for a couple of hours and enjoy the sights, music, food and dance with the whole family!

Do they have baby facilities?

Lots of the very friendly crew are parents so they know exactly what you will be needing. They can assist you with your high chair needs, there is easy access for strollers, and changing is easy on board.

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Port City Princess?

Some of the cruises offer really delicious full meals, but on the others there are certainly snacks, hot dogs and hamburgers on board, as well as a full bar. Captaining a ship can be hungry work!

Any top tips when visiting?

Don't forget your camera!

Does Port City Princess have a gift shop?

If you want to take some a cool wooden sailboat they are available to buy on board.

Teachers corner

There is a great historical narration of the area as you cruise along the coastline so kids will enjoy learning all the facts and trivia about the area.
