About Pond Ice Arena

Welcome to The Pond Ice Arena - home to Delaware Ducks, Pond Penguins, the Delaware Scholastic High School League....and YOU!

The Pond Ice Arena now has public skating sessions on weekdays and every weekend when the whole family can enjoy time on the ice, learning new skills, gaining confidence, and staying active and healthy!

If you really want to improve in the sport, you can practice what you learned in the Skating School!

There are set times for the public skating sessions, and your admission allows you to stake as little or as much during that time as you like. For something slightly different, make sure you check out the Cosmic Skate on Friday nights, where you can skate to the super cool music played by their resident DJ, with great lighting!

If you have never set a blade on the ice before, The Pond Ice Arena will help you through it. There are trained staff on hand to guide you, and they also have lessons for beginners if you want to learn the basic techniques before you challenge yourselves to the public sessions.

For those kids who really have a love of being on the ice, you can enjoy Ice Hockey too - including tournaments which are great if you love the thrill of competition and working as a team!

So, kids, the next time your parents tell you to "get your skates on", you might want to say "great - Pond Ice Arena it is!"

Have an ICE day!
