Sometimes if you are looking for a family day out, you don't need to look much further than your local park!

Patriots Park in Bakersfield is a great way to spend some time with the family. It's that classic family time experience, a great way for kids to keep active and an amazing way to breath in that fresh air!

Patriots Park is a great place to visit all year round. Not only are there large green areas for the kids to run around and play, but they also have a large play area, which is surrounded by picnic areas.

Kids can climb, slide, swing and spin all day long!

If they still have energy to use up after all that playing, then you can head over to the softball diamonds and hit a few balls (when they are not being used in softball season - then you can just enjoy the game!)

As well as the two softball diamonds, there are two basketball courts and a volleyball court so those future athletes can practice those slam dunks! 

Parkspace is always a great way for kids to just run around, get some sun and enjoy quality time with the family.

Partiots Park also have a family sized BBQ area so grab that lunch, get that grill on and enjoy a family day the old fashioned way!
